About JP Academy and Research Center

JP Academy and Research Center is a solar skill development initiative committed to preparing individuals for technical careers in the renewable energy sector.

Based in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, our focus is to provide practical-first training in Solar PV Installation and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC). We aim to connect technical education with actual industry requirements by giving learners opportunities to understand solar components, installation procedures and project execution.

The renewable energy industry requires individuals who possess more than theoretical knowledge. Solar installation professionals need to understand electrical fundamentals, system components, safety practices, equipment configuration and commissioning procedures.

Our training model is built around practical experience and industry relevance.

Practical Learning Environment

We focus on helping students understand the components and processes involved in actual solar installation projects. Learners become familiar with PV modules, inverters, batteries, mounting structures, ACDB, DCDB and other electrical components.

Commercial EPC Exposure

Unlike training models that depend entirely on artificial laboratory environments, our approach benefits from an existing commercial EPC ecosystem operated by Gemini Solaris. This ecosystem provides access to real solar equipment and active customer project

Industry-Aligned Training

Our curriculum is structured around the activities performed during solar project execution, including site surveys, installation, electrical connections, testing, commissioning and customer handover.

Employment-Oriented Learning

We aim to create a pathway from training to practical industry experience through paid OJT opportunities, competency assessments and industry-linked interview assistance. Creating meaningful environmental results worldwide.
